Praxis, owners of 14 office buildings at Kings Hill, has launched a major programme of refurbishment and renovation at the established Kent business park. The investment is aimed at delivering high-quality, flexible office space that meets the demands of modern businesses and supports a return to office-based working.
All 106,000 sq ft of existing office space across the three buildings has been degassed, with new electric air conditioning and ventilation systems installed in refurbished areas. These are zoned to offer a variety of unit sizes, giving businesses the flexibility to choose space that fits their needs.
All three buildings are being brought to Cat A quality standard, with office units ranging from 2,000 to 16,000 sq ft available to suit businesses of varying sizes. Units of 2,500–7,500 sq ft are currently in highest demand.
“Today’s modern office-based businesses are demanding flexible space with high standards of environmental performance and fit-out. We continue to see companies already based at Kings Hill move to more efficient offices, as well as interest from new businesses keen to benefit from local amenities and connectivity to London and the rest of Kent.” Harry Trahair, Asset Manager, Praxis.
Praxis says the programme reflects its long-term commitment to Kings Hill as Kent’s leading place to live and work, with a focus on sustaining employment on the park and responding to the growing demand for high-specification, right-sized office accommodation.
This phase of the refurbishment programme is on target to be completed by July 2026. The second phase will start later this year and include an estimated £2m refurbishment of space at 2 Kings Hill Avenue and 17 Kings Hill Avenue.
