The award, granted by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), reflects Fernham Homes’ performance throughout 2025 and acknowledges the consistent approach taken across its sites and operations to protect employees, contractors and partners.
Now in its 70th year, the RoSPA Awards programme is among the most respected health and safety schemes globally, receiving around 2,000 entries annually from organisations in nearly 60 countries. The Gold Award is reserved for those who demonstrate consistently high standards across their entire operation — not just individual projects.
For Fernham Homes, the recognition reflects a culture in which health and safety is embedded from site management and training through to day-to-day working practice.
“At Fernham Homes, health and safety is our highest priority. It is part of our culture and how we operate across the whole of our business. This recognition reflects the effort our team and partners put in every day to maintain high standards and look out for one another. As we continue to grow, that focus will remain unchanged.” – Sean Ellis, Managing Director, Fernham Homes
Julia Small, Growth Director at RoSPA, added that the award reflects the hard work and dedication required to achieve the high standards Fernham Homes has demonstrated, and that organisations like it play a direct role in making workplaces safer across the industry.
The RoSPA Awards are sponsored by NEBOSH, a leading global body providing internationally recognised health, safety and environmental qualifications.
